Women’s Day 2023: Embrace Equity

Join us in Marquette University’s Innovation Kitchen for a celebration and seminar featuring local talent, including Gina Della, Shahree Douglas, Mallory Steinberg, Kim Knaak, and Natasha Misra.
Advance tickets are required, with all proceeds going to the Sojourner Truth House – a Milwaukee-based organization and shelter with the mission “to create peaceful communities in which domestic respect and a life free from violence is the right of every woman, man and child.”
Menu will feature a selection of food and drink chosen and made by the talented women of Marquette Dining Services.
The theme for the event, and for Women’s Day 2023, is #EmbraceEquity. Per the IWD official site, “Equity recognizes that each person has different circumstances, and allocates the exact resources and opportunities needed to reach an equal outcome”.
Partners for the event include Marquette University, ClearChannel Outdoor, the American Marketing Association, Marquette Dining, and Sodexo.
